Ana Azuara Intake Assistant
As the intake assistant, Ana provides support by calling clients to gather information and get an overall understanding of the case. She works closely with the intake attorney to make sure the files for potential new cases are thoroughly completed and ready for evaluation. She also helps with the onboarding process for the new clients in both English and Spanish. Ana enjoys providing very positive and professional service to clients. She loves to travel, but most importantly, she enjoys spending time with her family and dog.
Joy Benitez Paralegal
Joy had joined our firm as a legal secretary and is now a paralegal. She takes pride in her strong attention to detail and treats the firm’s clients with the respect they deserve. Joy assists the firm’s attorneys with moving their litigation docket forward, discovery, pleadings, and expert depositions. She has had over ten years of experience in the administrative assistant field and looks forward to expanding her knowledge in personal injury litigation. During her time off, you can find Joy spending time with her husband, family, experiencing the great food Houston has to offer, and traveling.
Juan Castillo Paralegal
Juan assists with the firm’s litigation docket, including drafting discovery, calendaring for multiple attorneys, and communicating with clients on a daily basis. Prior to joining the firm, Juan attended college at the University of Houston where he graduated with a bachelor's in Political Science. Thereafter, he continued his education at the paralegal graduate program at Rice University where he received his paralegal certification in 2018. Since then, Juan has worked as a paralegal in the field of personal injury. Juan has a passion for helping clients and does everything he can to make their life easier. Outside of work, Juan enjoys exercising, spending time with his wife, reading, watching sports, and hanging out with his family.
Nancy Doyle Paralegal
Nancy is a paralegal with over 25 years’ experience in plaintiff’s personal injury and mass torts litigation.  She has a passion for helping clients who have been injured, guiding them through all phases of their litigation journey. Nancy takes pride in making sure the clients have a positive experience with the litigation process.  Nancy is responsible for drafting pleadings, discovery, managing the calendar and working with expert witnesses.  After graduating from Baylor University, Nancy obtained her paralegal certification from Southwestern Paralegal Institute.  Outside of work, Nancy is an avid marathon runner and enjoys hiking, kayaking and traveling with her family.
Dennise Garza Case Manager
Dennise assists our clients with their medical needs to ensure they are promptly attended to for their injuries. She worked in the medical field for eight years and has gained a great deal of knowledge about proper care. Dennise understands the care our clients should be receiving and can guide them through these difficult times. Dennise is fluent in both English and Spanish, allowing her to build great rapport with our clients. She communicates with the attorneys daily, providing them with treatment updates for every client. Dennise also gathers the medical records for each case. Away from work, Dennise enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, going to the beach, and cheering on her Houston sports teams.
Soojen Han Administrative Associate
Soo is an administrative associate at Armstrong Lee & Baker LLP. Soo has over 15 years of industry experience and was a medical interpreter. She assists with the firm’s financial and accounting, as well as the administration of its policies. In her free time, Soo enjoys cooking, singing, skiing, and spending time with her family and 3 dogs.
Cindy Ibarra Paralegal
Cindy assists with the day-to-day management of the firm’s litigation cases, including discovery and managing the calendar of hearings, depositions, mediations and trial. She is highly motivated to assist the firm in attaining the outcomes our clients rightfully deserve. Cindy is a mom of four children and University of Houston graduate. She enjoys discovering new things to do around Houston with her family.
Grace Lee Office Manager
Grace Lee is the office manager for Armstrong Lee & Baker LLP. Prior to joining the Firm, she worked in the maritime industry for over 25 years and has experience in human resources, office management, and accounting. Her job includes the development and application of firm policies and procedures and administering all phases of human resources, financials, and accounting. Away from work, Grace enjoys spending time at home with her husband, children, and a new grandson. Her family is active members of a local church and she also loves time planting her garden, traveling with her husband, and music.
Britney Marsden Litigation Paralegal
As a litigation paralegal, Britney drafts discovery responses and initial disclosures for clients. Prior to joining the firm, Britney graduated from Baylor University with a degree in English literature. She worked as a swim coach, at Starbucks, and as an insurance coordinator for an orthodontic practice before going back to school. She graduated in May 2021 with her paralegal certification and spent a year working in family law before making the move to personal injury. Britney loves working with clients and enjoys getting to learn about their lives through phone conversations. Outside of work, she enjoys experimenting in the kitchen and reading murder mysteries.
Odalis Munoz Case Manager
Odalis provides guidance and aid to our clients who are seeking medical treatment to recover after being injured in an accident. She keeps the firm’s attorneys informed daily on the status of our clients’ medical treatment and helps gather necessary bills and records. Prior to joining the personal injury profession, Odalis spent five years in the medical field where she gained tremendous knowledge and an understanding of medical care. When Odalis is not consulting with our clients, she is cherishing quality time with her daughter, and she is on a journey to discover fresh and tasty restaurants throughout the Houston area.
Melissa Owens Paralegal
As a paralegal, Melissa assists the firm with each client’s litigation journey from initial filing to resolution. She coordinates attorney’s schedules, handles discovery matters and provides administrative support in trial. With her own personal experience in what happens when a family member is injured in a negligent manner, Melissa takes great comfort and pride in assisting clients through the difficulties of litigation and providing support until they obtain the rightful outcome they deserve. Outside of work, Melissa enjoys spendings time with her family, playing piano and finding new activities throughout the Houston area to experience.
Rosalba Ricalday Intake Assistant
As an intake assistant, Roxy collects detailed information from potential new clients to evaluate and assess each unique case. She takes pride in providing excellent customer service to every client in both English and Spanish. Roxy has a passion for serving injured clients and creating a strong bond with each individual she speaks with. She has over eight years of experience in personal injury and continues to expand her knowledge in the field. Outside of work, Roxy enjoys exercising, spending time outdoors, traveling, and meeting new people.
Briana Rodriguez Paralegal
Briana’s passion for advocacy and her belief that everyone deserves a chance to be supported and have their voice heard led her to her current position. As a paralegal, Briana drafts discovery responses, initial disclosures, and other litigation documents for the firm’s clients. Briana works closely with our clients during litigation to gather information for formal discovery responses. Briana’s role is an integral part of the legal process. Prior to beginning her career at the firm, she attended Sam Houston State University and graduated with her bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. Briana uses her knowledge of the law to further advocate for the firm’s clients. Outside of work, she enjoys bodybuilding, baking, cake decorating, reading, and spending time with her family.
Marissa Roldan-Kubena Case Manager
Marissa is one of the primary points of contact for the firm’s clients during the course of their medical care and treatment. Marissa works tirelessly each day to make sure our clients have access to the medical care that they need. Marissa is also deeply involved with obtaining our client’s medical records and coordinating testimony with doctor’s offices. Marissa is a native Texan who comes from a small town southwest of Houston. She played sports for years and is a diehard fan for all Houston teams. She loves spending time with her husband, being outdoors, and hanging out with family and friends.
Anai Romero Legal Secretary
Anai is the friendly face and voice of the firm and greets our clients when they call or visit the office. She has a passion for spreading joy to our clients in some of the toughest times of their lives by offering them a shoulder to lean on and making it her mission for every client to feel like they are not alone in their journey. She firmly believes that every day is a gift and should be lived to the fullest. Anai truly enjoys helping clients and working day in and day out to do so—an attribute instilled in her by her mother, a hard-working immigrant and single parent. When she is not in the office, Anai enjoys discovering new places, exploring the outdoors, and rooting for the Texans and Astros.
Allyson Westrup Legal Secretary
As a Legal Secretary, Allyson assists our attorneys by providing administrative support. This includes scheduling depositions, mediations, and calendaring important deadlines. Since 2018, Allyson has been assisting and supporting injured clients through difficult times. She is also a Texas Notary Public. Outside of the office, Allyson loves spending time with her son, traveling the states, trying new restaurants, and learning how to bake.
Shawna Zaludek Legal Secretary
As a legal secretary, Shawna assists the firm’s attorneys by scheduling mediations, depositions, and client appointments. She coordinates with opposing parties to help our cases move forward. Shawna strives to create a personal relationship with each of our clients, so they can feel at ease during a difficult time. When she is not at work, Shawna enjoys spending time with her three daughters and grandson. You can find her on the softball field most weekends, volunteering at the little league, catching a baseball game, and traveling.
