Emma Coomes is a dedicated attorney with an unwavering commitment to obtaining fair results for her clients. She brings to the practice of law a robust blend of academic excellence, commitment to justice, and a devotion to ethical responsibility.

Emma graduated from the University of Notre Dame Law school, where she embraced the institution’s mission to nurture “a different kind of lawyer.” This mission instilled in her a profound sense of fairness, integrity, and the commitment to using the law to protect her clients from those who have wronged them.

Emma understands that legal issues can be emotionally and financially challenging, and she strives to provide not only expert legal counsel, but also the compassion and support her clients need during these difficult times. At the end of the day, her clients’ success is her ultimate goal.

While at Notre Dame, Emma served as a Managing Senior Editor on the Journal of Law, Ethics, and Public Policy, a role that allowed her to engage deeply with complex legal issues. Emma also excelled as a member of the Moot Court Trial Team, honing her litigation skills and gaining invaluable courtroom experience. These experiences prepared her to be an effective advocate for her clients, both inside and outside the courtroom.

Emma grew up in Louisville, Kentucky before moving to Houston, Texas. She attended the University of Alabama, where she received her undergraduate degree in International Studies and Spanish.
