Meet Kathleen Banks

Katie Banks was born in Houston and lived in the Klein area until she graduated high school. Katie went on to attend Texas A&M University, where she earned her undergraduate degree. Katie returned to Houston and worked in retail management for several years before deciding to attend law school and was accepted at the University of Houston Law Center.

In law school, Katie served as an Articles Editor on the Houston Law Review. After graduating, Katie spent ten years working for the defense bar before switching sides to put her legal skills to work helping those who have been wrongfully injured. Katie has experience working on many different types of cases including wrongful death, motor vehicle and 18-wheeler crashes, premises liability and products liability, but especially enjoys representing clients who were hurt while at work.

When not working hard to advocate for her clients, Katie enjoys spending time with her husband Nick and their cocker spaniel Annie. Katie is licensed in the State of Texas, the United States District Court for the Southern, Northern, Western and Eastern Districts of Texas, and the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.
