Meet Douglas S. Cooper

Douglas is dedicated to securing justice for clients who have been seriously injured, taking a hands-on approach to every case. From the start of his career, he has dedicated himself to the advocacy of others, approaching every case with a passion for justice.

He earned his B.A. in Political Science, summa cum laude, from Texas Tech University, and his J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center, where he made the Dean’s List every year and competed across the country on the nationally recognized UH Law Center Mock Trial Team.

During law school, he also interned for a Harris County Trial Court, gaining front-row insight into the courtroom, witnessing cases unfold from filing to trial, and seeing firsthand how preparation and advocacy shape outcomes.
Douglas began with the firm as a law clerk following his first year of law school, gaining early experience in the personal injury practice. Those experiences, combined with his training, guide his work on every case, ensuring rigorous preparation, strategic thinking, and unwavering dedication to his clients.

Outside the office, he is a passionate Texas Tech fan, cheering on the Red Raiders at every opportunity. He also enjoys riding his motorcycle across Texas, exploring new towns and trying the best local BBQ along the way.
