Forrest is a high-caliber, trial-forward, and commercially sophisticated lawyer who brings courtroom readiness to every matter he handles.

Before joining Armstrong Lee & Baker LLP, he served as a felony prosecutor, where he tried multiple jury trials to verdict as first-chair. Prior to that, he previously represented commercial trucking and transportation clients in pre-suit investigations and tort litigation, where he coordinated forensic experts, assessed liability, and managed an active docket of cases through all phases of litigation and trial. He also has considerable experience in representing plaintiffs in fiduciary and investment matters, commercial torts, and business and contractual claims—both in upstream operations and in disputes involving natural gas assets, gathering systems, and midstream processing agreements. A Certified Public Accountant and Board-Certified specialist in Oil, Gas & Mineral Law, Forrest brings financial precision and industry insight to each case, blending analytical discipline with clear, persuasive advocacy in court.

No. 20-03451) (trial counsel represented non-operator in bench trial; obtained favorable, joint-settlement of royalty dispute and lease interpretation claims following witnesses’ testimony, and before defendants presented their case)
