Meet Joshua Lee

Joshua Lee is a trial lawyer and a founding partner of Armstrong Lee & Baker LLP. Whether building a case from the ground up or stepping in for an appeal, Josh is known for developing effective legal strategies that deliver results. He’s earned a reputation as a tough advocate with sharp legal instincts, a deep command of personal injury law, and a knack for creatively solving hard problems.

As head of the Firm’s law department, Josh guides legal strategy across the Firm’s docket. He and his team are responsible for preparing critical motions, developing responsive briefing, and handling high-stakes appeals. Josh believes that every argument advanced on behalf of the Firm’s clients should be meticulously researched, well-reasoned, and persuasive. His leadership in the law department not only strengthens the firm’s litigation posture but also drives consistent high-quality outcomes for clients facing challenging issues—a fact which judges and defense lawyers have noticed.

Josh is a leader in the community. He currently serves as the Chair of APIS, a section of the State Bar of Texas. He is a past President and Director of the Asian American Bar Association of Houston and currently serves as a Trustee of the Asian American Bar Foundation of Houston.

Josh graduated from NYU Law, one of the nation’s best law schools, and worked at a prominent Wall Street law firm before returning to Texas to pursue justice for the injured. He is licensed to practice law in New York, Texas, and federal courts in both states. Josh lives in Houston with his wife, Julie, and their children.
