Meet Taylor Pace

Taylor Pace is a dedicated trial attorney who has helped recover hundreds of millions of dollars for clients since becoming licensed in 2017. His practice focuses on representing individuals and families who have suffered catastrophic injuries or the loss of a loved one due to negligence.

Taylor has handled numerous wrongful death cases, including cases involving the tragic loss of young children in drowning incidents that resulted from negligence, as well as in car wrecks.

Two of Taylor’s most notable cases include representing the father of a world-famous Houston rapper who was fatally shot at a downtown bowling alley; and representing the father of an 11-year-old boy who was branded by a cult leader (that cult leader was also the CEO of a multi-million-dollar multinational corporation with locations in all fifty states and six other countries).

Taylor has served as first chair in numerous trials in both state and federal courts. His courtroom success earned him recognition from TopVerdict for securing one of the 10 largest verdicts in Texas in 2021, as well as one of the 10 largest premises liability verdicts in the United States that same year. He has been selected for multiple annual editions of Super Lawyers Rising Stars and Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch.

Taylor’s experience spans a wide range of complex personal injury matters, including:

• Representing clients who suffered severe burn injuries, traumatic brain injuries, and injuries requiring limb amputations;
• Representing victims of explosions—including chemical plant explosions, home gas explosions, gas grill explosions, and boat explosions;
• Representing victims of workplace accidents involving chemical exposure, electrocutions, roofing/scaffolding falls, and forklift injuries;
• Representing victims of drunk drivers; and
• Representing people harmed by defective products such as automobiles, ATVs, and even household appliances.

During law school, Taylor earned four CALI Excellence for the Future Awards (for achieving the highest grade in a course) including in Copyright Law, Advanced Property, and for writing two seminar papers—one on pharmaceutical patent law and another on First Amendment protections on college campuses. He was named to the Dean’s Honor List four times and was a member of the Phi Delta Phi honor society.

Taylor began his legal career clerking at a firm specializing in eminent domain and personal injury law. He later joined the oldest personal injury firm in Texas, where he made history as the first attorney in the firm’s 70+ year history to be promoted from contract attorney to full associate.

A native Houstonian, Taylor graduated from Memorial High School and earned his undergraduate degree in Economics from Texas Christian University. While at TCU, he was elected pledge captain of Beta Upsilon Chi, the university’s largest fraternity.
