Jessica was born and raised in Sterling Heights, Michigan. After completing her undergraduate degree, she relocated to Madrid, Spain, where she became fluent in Spanish. She remained in Madrid until 2016, when she moved to Houston, Texas. Her international experiences shaped her unique outlook and enriched her professional and personal life.
During law school, Jessica served as a law clerk at Armstrong Lee & Baker LLP, where she gained hands-on experience in every stage of litigationโfrom drafting petitions and demand letters to assisting with discovery, motions, and trial preparation. She also completed a summer internship with the Harris County District Attorneyโs Office, working in the Crimes Against Children Division, where she supported prosecutors and developed a deeper understanding of courtroom procedure and advocacy.
Prior to entering the legal field, Jessica worked in education as a Spanish teacher and advisor at St. Johnโs School in Houston, where she led curriculum development and mentorship initiatives. Her background in teaching informs her clear communication style and client-centered approach to the practice of law.
Outside the courtroom, Jessica enjoys exploring Texas beaches and hiking trails with her husband, son, and two dogs, Latte and Maggie.
