Armstrong Lee & Baker LLP represented the family of a young oilfield worker who was tragically killed in a preventable electrocution accident at an oilfield site. The case involved multiple corporate defendants responsible for site operations and electrical safety, as well as contractor oversight.
The oilfield worker was performing electrical work when a power line that should have been de-energized under required lock-out/tag-out procedures remained live. While working inside a three-phase testing unit, he suffered fatal electrocution injuries. Two nearby co-workers were also seriously burned.
