Our History

Armstrong Lee & Baker LLP began with a vision in a small study room at the University of Houston Law Center in 2011. Scott Armstrong and Joshua Lee, classmates and friends, dreamed of one day building a firm that would stand for excellence and unwavering client advocacy.

After graduation, their paths diverged—Scott gained experience as a personal injury attorney at top plaintiffs’ firms in Texas, while Joshua honed his skills in complex litigation and investigations in New York City. In 2015, Joshua returned to Houston, and the duo began laying the foundation for what would become Armstrong Lee & Baker LLP.

The firm officially opened its doors in August 2017. In 2021, C.J. Baker joined as a partner, bringing his passion and proven success in helping clients recover from life-altering injuries. Today, we have grown into a powerhouse of more than 20 accomplished lawyers and over 70 dedicated staff members, serving clients across Texas.
