On Friday, August 21st at approximately 8:00 AM, a devastating pipeline explosion took place in the Port of Corpus Christi when the dredging vessel Waymon L Boyd hit a submerged pipeline. The pipeline accident sent six workers to the hospital and killed four hard working barge workers leaving their families wondering exactly what happened.
