Current attorneys, employees and contractors of Sponsor, individuals directly involved in the administration or promotion of the Contest and members of their immediate families or households are not eligible to win. 3. Contest Period
The Contest begins at 8:00 a.m. Central Time on September 15, 2026, and ends at 5:00 p.m. Central Time on October 1, 2026 (the “Contest Period”). Entries received before or after the Contest Period are not eligible.
4. How to Enter
There are three free methods of entry. Limit one entry per person, regardless of method of entry.
Facebook Entry
During the Contest Period, visit the official Armstrong Lee & Baker Back-to-School Photo Contest post on the firm’s Facebook page and submit one eligible back-to-school or school-related photo in the comments on that official Contest post.
Instagram Entry
During the Contest Period, post one eligible back-to-school or school-related photo to your own Instagram account and tag Armstrong Lee & Baker’s official Instagram account in the post.
Your Instagram account and Contest post must be publicly viewable during the Contest Period and through winner selection so Sponsor can verify the entry. If your Instagram account is private, use the email entry method instead.
Email Entry
During the Contest Period, email one eligible photo to marketing@armstronglee.com with “Back-to-School Photo Contest” in the subject line. The email must include:
Entries submitted through more than one method, duplicate entries or multiple entries from the same person may be disqualified. Sponsor is not responsible for entries that are lost, late, incomplete, misdirected, inaccessible or not visible to Sponsor.
5. Photo Requirements
Eligible entries may include a current or throwback first-day-of-school, classroom, school-year or other appropriate school-related photograph.
By submitting a photograph, the entrant represents and warrants that:
Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to reject or remove any submission that does not comply with these Official Rules or that Sponsor determines is inconsistent with the spirit of the Contest.
6. Use of Submitted Photos
By entering, the entrant grants Sponsor a nonexclusive, royalty-free right to use, reproduce, display and repost the submitted photograph solely in connection with the Contest and related Contest communications, including Sponsor’s website, email newsletter and social media channels.
Sponsor may choose to feature selected entries but is not obligated to publish or repost any submission. This permission is limited to Contest-related use and does not grant Sponsor a general commercial license to use submitted photographs for unrelated advertising or marketing.
Submission of a photograph does not authorize Sponsor to identify any entrant or person pictured as a client of Armstrong Lee & Baker LLP. Sponsor will not represent that an entrant or person appearing in a photograph is or has been a client solely because of participation in the Contest.
7. Prizes
Five winners will each receive one $100 digital gift card. Each winner may choose a digital gift card from Amazon, Target or Walmart.
Approximate retail value of each prize: $100. Total approximate retail value of all prizes: $500.
Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash except where required by law. Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if a stated prize becomes unavailable. Amazon, Target and Walmart are not sponsors of, and are not affiliated with, this Contest.
8. Winner Selection and Odds
Five potential winners will be selected at random from all eligible entries received during the Contest Period. Each eligible entry will have an equal opportunity to be selected regardless of whether it was submitted through Facebook, Instagram or email.
Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.
9. Winner Notification and Prize Fulfillment
Potential winners will be contacted by direct message or email, depending on the method of entry, within seven business days after the Contest closes.
A potential winner may be required to confirm eligibility and provide information reasonably necessary for prize fulfillment. If a potential winner cannot be contacted, does not respond within the timeframe stated in the notification, is found to be ineligible or otherwise fails to comply with these Official Rules, Sponsor may select an alternate potential winner at random from the remaining eligible entries.
Digital gift cards will be delivered electronically to confirmed winners using the contact information provided or confirmed during winner notification.
10. Winner Announcement
Sponsor may announce each confirmed winner using the winner’s first name and last initial. By accepting a prize, each winner grants Sponsor permission to identify the winner in this manner in Contest-related communications, unless prohibited by law.
Any additional use of a winner’s full name, likeness, photograph or testimonial beyond the Contest-related permissions described in these Official Rules will require separate permission where appropriate.
11. Taxes
Any federal, state or local taxes, fees or other costs associated with acceptance or use of a prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.
12. General Conditions
Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who, in Sponsor’s reasonable determination:
• Violates these Official Rules
• Attempts to submit more than one entry
• Provides false, misleading or incomplete information
• Attempts to manipulate, interfere with or compromise the Contest
• Uses automated, fraudulent or deceptive means to enter
• Engages in conduct that undermines the fairness, integrity or proper administration of the Contest
Sponsor reserves the right to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the Contest if fraud, technical problems, platform changes, unauthorized intervention, force majeure or other circumstances beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control materially affect the administration, security, fairness or integrity of the Contest.
If the Contest is terminated early, Sponsor may select winners at random from eligible entries received before termination, if appropriate.
13. Release and Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, by participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor and its attorneys, employees, agents and representatives from claims, losses, damages or liabilities arising out of participation in the Contest or the acceptance, possession or use of a prize.
Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, misdirected, corrupted or technically inaccessible entries, or for technical failures affecting email, social media platforms, internet service, devices or other systems outside Sponsor’s reasonable control.
