Anthony Lane

Meet Anthony Lane

Anthony graduated from Sam Houston State University with degrees in History and English and obtained his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Houston Law Center.

Before attending law school, Anthony spent ten years as an educator, teaching high school English, music, and theater arts. His years in the classroom taught him how to command a room, communicate complicated ideas clearly, and connect with people from different backgrounds. Those skills ultimately became the foundation for his development as a trial advocate.

During law school, Anthony competed in twelve interscholastic competitions as a member of the nationally recognized UHLC Mock Trial Team. He was a national finalist at both the 2025 Fordham Kelly National Mock Trial Competition and the 2026 Amicus Cup Competition. Anthony won the 2025 American Bar Association Arbitration Competition National Championship and the 2026 Trials & Tribulations National Mock Trial Competition, where he was also named Outstanding Overall Advocate. Anthony was inducted into both the Order of the Barons and the Order of the Barristers and received several scholarships and awards recognizing his achievements in trial advocacy.

Anthony brings the same qualities that shaped his career as an educator and competitive advocate to his work on behalf of his clients. His years as a teacher taught him that knowing a subject is not enough. An advocate must be able to communicate clearly, listen carefully, and earn the trust of the people who depend on him. His years of trial advocacy taught him the value of thorough preparation, adaptability, and remaining composed under pressure.

Anthony is committed to putting those skills to work for clients who are facing some of the most difficult circumstances of their lives and ensuring that they have a strong advocate in their corner.
