Scott Armstrong

Scott Armstrong is the Managing Partner and co-founder of Armstrong Lee & Baker LLP. Since founding the firm in 2017, Scott has overseen its growth from three young lawyers working around a plastic table to a powerhouse of over 20 accomplished lawyers and more than 70 employees. His leadership has been instrumental in cultivating a culture where excellence, innovation, and commitment to client success are paramount.

Scott’s reputation among opposing counsel is unparalleled—he is widely recognized for his ability to extract full value in even the most challenging cases. His approach is marked by a relentless pursuit of justice, a keen strategic mind, and a willingness to take on severe injury cases that many others decline due to complex liability issues. Scott believes that the toughest cases demand a relentless and resourceful team. To that end, he has designed the firm’s systems and processes to ensure that every case—regardless of size or complexity—receives the highest level of attention, service, and dedication.

Joshua Lee

Joshua Lee is a trial lawyer and a founding partner of Armstrong Lee & Baker LLP. Whether building a case from the ground up or stepping in for an appeal, Josh is known for developing effective legal strategies that deliver results. He’s earned a reputation as a tough advocate with sharp legal instincts, a deep command of personal injury law, and a knack for creatively solving hard problems.

As head of the Firm’s law department, Josh guides legal strategy across the Firm’s docket. He and his team are responsible for preparing critical motions, developing responsive briefing, and handling high-stakes appeals. Josh believes that every argument advanced on behalf of the Firm’s clients should be meticulously researched, well-reasoned, and persuasive. His leadership in the law department not only strengthens the firm’s litigation posture but also drives consistent high-quality outcomes for clients facing challenging issues—a fact which judges and defense lawyers have noticed.

Josh doesn’t shy away from risk. He knows that thorough preparation and bold, well-reasoned arguments move the needle. That’s why some of Texas’ top trial lawyers have asked him to handle high-stakes motions and appeals, especially when their cases are on the line. For his tireless work on behalf of the Firm’s clients, Josh has been recognized as one of the Top 100 Rising Stars in Texas by Super Lawyers and received the Best Lawyer Under 40 Award from the Asian Pacific Interest Section of the State Bar of Texas (APIS).

C.J. Baker

C.J. Baker represents victims with serious injuries and he won’t let any corporation or insurance company stop his clients from getting complete justice. He has won millions of dollars for victims of 18-wheeler crashes, oilfield equipment failures, offshore platform explosions, and defective medical devices.

Before joining Armstrong Lee & Baker LLP, C.J. practiced with excellent injury lawyers handling catastrophic injuries and national litigation against medical device companies. Before that he worked at one of the world’s largest law firms representing companies in multi-million dollar business disputes.

Cullen McDonald

Cullen McDonald is an appellate attorney who focuses on critical motions, briefing, and appeals in complex and high-stakes personal injury cases. He works closely with trial teams to protect verdicts and position cases for success in both state and federal courts.

Cullen has extensive experience across a range of personal injury matters, including products liability, premises liability, wrongful death, catastrophic injury, and maritime cases. He has helped secure significant recoveries for individuals and families against some of the largest corporations in Texas and across the country.

Taylor Pace

Taylor Pace is a dedicated trial attorney who has helped recover hundreds of millions of dollars for clients since becoming licensed in 2017. His practice focuses on representing individuals and families who have suffered catastrophic injuries or the loss of a loved one due to negligence.

Taylor has handled numerous wrongful death cases, including cases involving the tragic loss of young children in drowning incidents that resulted from negligence, as well as in car wrecks.

Taylor has served as first chair in numerous trials in both state and federal courts. His courtroom success earned him recognition from TopVerdict for securing one of the 10 largest verdicts in Texas in 2021, as well as one of the 10 largest premises liability verdicts in the United States that same year. He has been selected for multiple annual editions of Super Lawyers Rising Stars and Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch.
